Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that starting something new can bring up a lot of questions. Below, you’ll find answers to the most common inquiries about our services, approach, and what to expect. If you need more information or have a specific concern, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to help!

1. What kind of therapy do you offer?
At Your Wellness Solutions, we offer individual therapy for older teens and adults, with a focus on healing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. We blend talk therapy with mindfulness, body-based approaches, and energy psychology to support your full well-being.

2. What kinds of concerns do people come to you with?
People come to us for all kinds of reasons—stress, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, big life transitions, low self-esteem, and more. We also talk about how things like nutrition and movement (for those that want to learn more about it) impact your mental health, because it’s all connected.

3. Do you offer virtual therapy?
Yes! We offer online sessions for anyone living in North Carolina, so you can meet from the comfort of your home or any private space that works for you.

4. I’ve never been to therapy—how do I know if it’s right for me?
That’s completely okay—many people are in the same boat. Therapy can be a safe, supportive space to process what you’re going through, find clarity, and move forward in a way that feels right for you. If you're curious, that's a great place to start.

 

5. What happens in the first session?
The first session is a chance to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you here, what’s been feeling hard, and what you hope to get out of therapy. There’s no pressure—just a supportive space to begin your journey.

6. How long are sessions, and how often should I come?
Sessions are usually 50 minutes long. Some people come every week, others every other week and others come on more of a monthly basis once we hit more of a maintenance stage. It really depends on your needs, goals and what fits into your life. We’ll figure it out together.

7. What does “holistic therapy” really mean?
Holistic therapy means we don’t just focus on your thoughts—we look at the full picture: your emotions, habits, lifestyle, and even how you nourish and move your body. Everything is connected, and we honor that in the healing process.

8. Do you take insurance and how much will it cost me?
We accept BCBS, Aetna, Aetna SHP, United Healthcare, and UMR. If you're interested, we can provide a receipt (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. If you're uncertain about your insurance coverage, we're here to assist you in exploring your options. Since each individual's insurance plan varies, we'll need to review your specific plan to determine your exact out-of-pocket cost.

9. How do I schedule a session?
You can schedule by reaching out through our contact form, sending an email to WellnessSolutionsPLLC@gmail.com, or giving us a call at 704-699-6416. We’ll respond quickly and help you get set up. Keep in mind that I may be in session when you call, but feel free to leave a message or an email and I will return the message within 24 hours.

10. What’s your cancellation policy?
Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, just let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer that time to someone else. If it's less than 24 hours, there may be a fee, but we always try to be understanding.
