Online Somatic Therapy in North Carolina

I offer online somatic therapy for adults and young adults across North Carolina, based in Charlotte. Somatic therapy is a whole‑body approach that helps you work with anxiety, stress, trauma responses, and nervous system overwhelm by including what your body is experiencing, not only what you’re thinking.

If you’re used to handling everything alone… this might be for you.
Maybe you learned to be independent early. You became the responsible one, the capable one, the one who keeps it together. And yet underneath, you feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or like you’re failing even though you’re trying incredibly hard.
If that resonates, you’re not broken. Your nervous system learned how to survive. Therapy can help you learn how to feel safe, connected, and fully yourself.

What is somatic therapy?

Somatic therapy (body‑based or mind‑body therapy) helps you build awareness of sensations, emotions, and stress responses and gently shift patterns that keep you stuck in survival mode. Instead of only talking about what happened, we also work with how your body holds stress so you can feel more grounded, present, and resilient.

How Somatic Therapy Helps Anxiety, Trauma, and Nervous System Regulation

Somatic therapy may help you:

Reduce anxiety symptoms and chronic stress

Feel more regulated and grounded in your body

Work with trauma responses (fight/flight/freeze)

Improve sleep, focus, and emotional resilience

Build self‑trust and a stronger sense of safety and confidence

My whole body healing approach

My approach is trauma‑informed and integrates psychotherapy with nervous system regulation, somatic techniques, mindfulness, and energy psychology. We move at a pace that feels safe and collaborative, because lasting change happens when your mind and body feel supported.

What sessions are like (online in NC)

In sessions, we may use gentle body awareness, grounding skills, breathwork, tracking sensations, and practical tools you can use between sessions. You don’t need to “perform” or relive everything. Our goal is to help your system feel safer and more flexible over time. Every session is different, and we'll always move at a pace that feels manageable for you.

Who I work with

Adults and young adults across North Carolina navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, perfectionism, people‑pleasing, emotional overwhelm, childhood trauma, PTSD or feeling disconnected from themselves.
